From many years we support John Paul II Public Secondary School in Porąbka. Funds transferred to the school are spend on buying utensils for specialist study rooms, buying books, maps and other education helpful things or repair of classrooms. Cooperation with that school is the certain element of our pro bono policy and we would do as much as possible to continue it in future.
We choose young talents! That is the reason for us founding every year some prizes for laureates of next editions of the competition organized by the Coal Basin Section of Polish Electricians’ Association (SEP) in Katowice and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology ‘With electricity through the world’. We do our best to choose prizes that would be useful and interesting for future engineers. Last time we decreed them measurers and oscilloscope.
Recently, we have been involved in supporting power engineers’ activity in sport which results in cooperation with Association for Sport and Culture ‘ELEKTRO’ from Łaziska Górne. The cooperation focuses on Indoor Polish Championship in Tennis for Power Sector Employees’. We are supporting them (both Association and participants) this year as well.
