EXTENDING SERVICE PERIOD OF POWER UNITS

Conference Theme:
- Theme of the Conference focused on the conditions of extending service period of thermo-mechanical equipment of power plants up to about 350.000 working hours. Different attitudes to the matter were presented – especially those enabling to minimize a replacement of longest operated elements. For 200 MW power units there was presented recommended methodology – implemented during first modernizations of these units – for phases of overhaul preparation, realization and whole period of extended operation.
